Comedian and Artist
A mobile space that allows an artist to have a waiting and preparation point near the plateau, according to the proposed configuration.
The HTML
London, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, Cornwall or Highlands: PROD 19 studies the mobilization of mobile logs for artists, actors, HMC, makeup, hairstyle, costumes and audiovisual productions in the UK.
The UK focuses metropolitan areas, contemporary neighborhoods, Victorian streets, ports, coastal landscapes, counties, Scottish reliefs and extremely diverse natural decorations.
For a production, this diversity represents a force. It also implies that two day of filming organized in the same country can demand completely different devices.
A advertising toured in a London street first requires to think about parking, production-managed permits, traffic and the distance between the base and the decor. A series installed in the Highlands can, on the contrary, move priority towards the access route, the kilometers between the places, the weather, the terrain and the organization's autonomy.
In Manchester, Liverpool or Bristol, a urban decor can associate old industrial buildings, contemporary neighborhoods, channels, docks or rehabilitated architectures. In Cardiff, Belfast or Glasgow, the routes, the places of placement and the pace of the travel must be assessed from the real place of viewing.
A mobile logue can then create an identifiable space for actors, artists and technical departments near the filming when a compatible implantation exists.
The objective is not to claim that a PROD 19 vehicle is permanently parked in London or Edinburgh. The principle is different: to study whether the project, its duration and its calendar justify a mobilization from France, then to concrete check whether this solution can work on the different places planned.
City, road access, duration, artists, HMC flow, costumes, parking and planning should be considered together.
Large urban centers, industrial heritage, coastal, reliefs and historic cities allow production to compose very diverse universes.
In the Highlands or on other natural decorations, the beauty of the place says nothing about its accessibility. road width, slope, ground, racking radius, parking area and weather should be studied before imagining the ideal technical basis.
The exact configuration always depends on the unit actually offered. The needs are studied from the number of users, schedules and the organization of the shooting.
A mobile space that allows an artist to have a waiting and preparation point near the plateau, according to the proposed configuration.
The need is calculated from the flow: people prepared simultaneously, schedules, retouches, devices and plate passages.
Clothing changes, wearers, trials and costume department organization can justify a dedicated space near the decor.
Several functions can be studied when the project requires a coherent mobile organization rather than a isolated space.
London, Manchester, Liverpool, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have very different decorations and restrictions.
Urban centers, contemporary neighborhoods, international heritage and production.
Bricks, docks, channels, modern neighborhoods and industrial heritage.
Historic centers and quick access to great natural decorations.
Secondary routes, weather, access and implantation are becoming priority.
City, coast, valleys and natural territories.
Port, city, industry and rural areas according to the decorations.
The illustrated vehicle belongs to the real universe PROD 19. This does not mean it is automatically available for every date or for every UK destination.
A UK demand must be closer to the truly available units, their configuration, the days required for the shift and the overall production schedule.
Presenting my project
Travel to the UK requires integration of crossroads, road times, local traffic and own barriers instead of filming.
The calendar must provide for the travel, arrival to the place and the necessary installation time.
The passage and the applicable formalities must be verified according to the vehicle, mission and date.
Driving to the left, urban access, restrictions and dimensions of the roads are part of the preparation.
The centre, periphery or studio area may have completely different conditions.
PROD 19 studies the implementation of its units without replacing competent local interlocutors.
Strong roads, portals, currents, trees, hills and turn-out areas can change feasibility.
The outer conditions influence the artists’ waiting and HMC or costumes flow.
The repositioning must be integrated as a real part of the work plan.
The UK market may concern both a French production that is going to turn to the UK and a British company that is coming to produce in France.
London is naturally one of the main production poles in the UK. But a "touch London" research covers very different environments: historic center, contemporary neighborhoods, residential areas, periphery and studios.
The exact address of the recording becomes therefore essential. The distance between the plateau and the area planned for vehicles can determine the entire organization.
A English-speaking production can talk about artist trailer or talent trailer where a French team will talk about artist logos or comedy logos.
The function remains comparable: provide a professional space near the plateau according to the proposed configuration.
The HMC must be studied according to the real flow: people prepared simultaneously, schedules, connections and passages to the plateau.
The proposed configuration always depends on the unit that is actually available.
Clothing, clothing changes, wearables and accessories may require a dedicated space. The required surface depends on the real project.
A campaign can focus artists, agency, customer, HMC, stylism and production over a short period. A mobile logue can then bring some functions closer to the chosen place for viewing.
Music productions can associate several looks, costumes and changes to HMC. A mobile space can provide a stable point near the decor.
Manchester combines industrial heritage, roofs, channels, rehabilitated buildings and contemporary architecture. These decorations can fit for films, series, clips and advertisements.
Liverpool offers waterfront, docks, monumental architecture and very different urban neighborhoods. Each decor requires its own access checking.
Scotland combines remarkable cities and great natural landscapes. The passage from a urban environment to a rural decor can significantly change the conditions of implantation.
In isolated areas, the last kilometre becomes important. A visible road on a map can become very narrow, stunning or difficult before the final place.
A video of the approach, field photographs and the dimensions of the entrance point can help to evaluate the situation.
Cardiff, coastal and Galloese landscapes can offer very different configurations. A validated urban settlement does not guarantee faisability on a rural site.
Belfast has port, urban and industrial environments. The trip to Northern Ireland must be integrated into the general study.
Bristol allows you to combine city, port and access to coastal areas. Cornwalls can then impose narrower roads and additional restrictions.
A company based in London, Manchester or anywhere else in the UK can look for an artist trailer, hair and makeup trailer or wardrobe trailer for a filming made in France.
The future English versions of the site will allow you to work exactly these expressions, with a content really suited to the British vocabulary.
The future pages of London, Manchester or Scotland should not be copies in which only the name of the city changes.
Each page will have to offer its own images, its own field situations, its own production contexts and a truly useful content.
